Get found on Google, Maps and in AI answers

When someone searches "flight school near me" or asks ChatGPT how much a pilot license costs, your school should be in the answer. Here's how we put it there.

How Google ranks local flight schools

Google says it ranks local results on three things: relevance (how well your profile matches the search), distance (how close you are), and prominence (how well known you are, including reviews and links). You can't move your airport, so we win on the other two.

What we do every month

  • Google Business Profile: complete categories, services, prices, photos and weekly posts
  • Review requests after every discovery flight and checkride, following Google's and the FTC's rules (no incentives, no filtering)
  • Local pages and articles that answer real questions with real numbers
  • Structured data that matches what's on the page
  • Consistent listings on Apple, Bing, Yelp, AOPA and aviation directories
  • A monthly check of whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI and Gemini name your school

AI search (AEO), explained simply

Google says there are no special tricks for its AI Overviews: they draw on pages that are indexed, clear and trustworthy. So we write plain answers to the questions students ask ("How long does it take to get a private pilot license?"), back them with FAA sources, and keep your reviews and listings strong. Then we measure whether AI assistants cite you, and report the score in your portal.

3
things Google ranks on

Relevance, distance and prominence. Reviews and a complete profile drive two of them.

4–12 mo
for SEO to compound

Google's own guidance is that SEO takes four months to a year to show benefit. Your profile and reviews improve sooner.

Progress in plain English

Each monthly report covers where you show up on Google Maps, in search and in AI answers, what we changed to get there, and what we are working on next.

FAQ

Common questions

What is AI search optimization (AEO)?

AEO means making sure tools like Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity mention your school when someone asks, "What's the best flight school near me?" or "How much does a private pilot license cost?" We do it with clear, accurate answers on your website, strong reviews, consistent listings and structured data. We check every month whether those assistants name you.

How fast will we see results?

Most schools see their first leads within days of ads going live, about 21 days after signing. Cost per lead usually improves through months 2 and 3 as the ads learn. Google search and AI-search visibility build over 4 to 12 months, which matches Google's own guidance on SEO.

Do you work with Part 61 and Part 141 flight schools?

Yes, both. For Part 141 schools we follow the FAA's advertising rules in 14 CFR 141.23, which means Part 141-approved courses are always clearly separated from courses that aren't approved.
